Description

The components listed above contain a vulnerability that allows the author of a malicious .mar file to perform an XSS attack.

Impact

The impact of this vulnerability includes the theoretical possibility that an attacker could manipulate the system with the same privileges as the logged in user.

Solution

TIBCO has released updated versions of the affected systems which address this issue

• TIBCO Hawk versions 6.2.0, 6.2.1, 6.2.2 and 6.2.3 to 6.2.4: update to version 6.2.5 or later
• TIBCO Hawk versions 6.3.0: update to version 6.3.1 or later
• TIBCO Operational Intelligence Hawk versions 7.2.0, 7.2.1, and 7.2.2: update to version 7.3.0 or later
