How to Bridge TIBCO Enterprise Message ServiceTM and TIBCO Quasar Powered by Apache Pulsar® with TIBCO FTL®

TIBCO Messaging provides connectors to bridge TIBCO FTL and TIBCO Messaging Quasar powered by Apache Pulsar, or Apache Pulsar. Although there is no direct bridge from TIBCO Enterprise Message Service (EMS) and Pulsar, TIBCO EMS and TIBCO FTL can be bridged. This guide will provide the steps necessary for configuring the bridge between TIBCO Enterprise Message Service and TIBCO FTL, thus allowing messages to be sent/received from TIBCO EMS to Apache Pulsar.

The document will outline:

1) Configuration of EMS to bridge to FTL
2) Configuration of FTL to bridge to TIBCO Quasar powered by Apache Pulsar

3) Configuration of a bidirectional (sink and source) connectors to bridge Pulsar and FTL for simple string messages
4) Simple tests to ensure bidirectional message transfer between EMS via FTL and Pulsar. For sending/receiving more complex message structures between the components, refer to the appropriate TIBCO messaging component documentation.
