    This document to is to provide a preliminary example of configuring SASL/SCRAM security on Apache Kafka. Salted Challenge Response Authentication Mechanism (SCRAM), or SASL/SCRAM, is based on username/password and can be easily deployed for small-scale applications. This document involves:
