Scribe Documentation Tool record limit

We are using the Google Docs - Documentation Tool to document a solution with 26 maps but it keeps stopping in the middle of the 16th map. Anyone else experience a limit on this tool I'm checking the source code but don't see a hard setting for this. I really don't want to export some maps then import them into a side solution just for extractingdocumentation.

Hi, I do not see a limit either, but have tried it with 100 small maps without issues and also 30 big maps without issues.

It does take some time (Slow) and sometimes it looks like it stoppped but it continues slowly one map at a time.

And it uses browser resources, you could try troubleshooting by using a different browser (firefox or Chrome) and use F12 to open the developer tool and look at the memory usage which may get up to 400MB for big solutions.

If there is a network error, you can also see it with F12.

Other than that I would also try exporting and importing the maps in a new solutions and have only 15 maps in the solution and see if you get better results or if it stops only at one particular map.

Thanks, I did try other browsers and kept them open for at least 4 hours while at work. It would stop at different maps. Shrug!

 

After the project was completed, I ended up just copying them into separate solutions just to get the documentation.
