Will Tibco BE Cache engine work or perform as expected on Virtual Machines

Hi All,

I'm working with a client on scaling their servers. Currently client use Tibco BE on Physical machines with Interence and Cache engines installed on them. Our infrastruce team proposed to switch to Virtual Machines. My question - Is there any downside of switching to VMs I've headed mixed comments about Cache engines on VMS. Please share your thoughts if you have ran the cache engines on VMs.

Our general recommendation is to run BE cache engines on physical servers, but you should be able to run BE cache nodes on VMs if you follow the best practices recommended by AS team. Please find attached document that highlights all the best practices when running cache nodes on VMs.
