What software are you using to monitor Tibco EMS queues

We currently use CA Wily to monitoring Tibco EMS queue depths, but are now moving away from our legacy monitoring tools. I have found it near impossible to find a monitoring vedor that monitors Tibco EMS queues depths out of the box. I am curious as to what others might be using to acomplish this

I know there are such things as Prometheus, but I was looking for more of a paid solution that is fucused on such things as Tibco EMS queue depths, custom metrics, and other timeseries metrics.

Hi,

If you are looking for a commercially available and supported option I would highly recommend looking at TIBCO RTView for TIBCO Enterprise Message Service. This is a commercially available product sold and supported by TIBCO but provided by SL.

It has all the flexibily of dynamic dashboard creation and allows for detailed viewing of EMS queues, status and health.

Thank you - Very much appreciated! I will check that out. My understanding is that to use that it requires Tibco Hawk - is that correct

 

I have been playing around with Promethius and Grafana for it, but I am not really impressed with Grafana's options for alerting.

Hi Larry,

No RTView does not require TIBCO Hawk. RTview is tightly integrated wiht EMS and get all the metrics from API.
