Toru Watanabe
I would like to knowthe server configurations ( ex, number of cpu , RAM, physical disk space)for customer requirement. Please tell me how to decide the server configuration. Toru
Motsu Aboshi
Absolute minimum system requirements are on page 12 of the Installation Guide, I recommend starting there for bare minimum installation guidance. More generally, the system requirements for TDV depend entirely on the intended workload: - Amount of traffic - Amount of metadata: Disk space, and memory - Kinds of virtual models: are you JOINing large data sets between separate data sources If so, you'll need more memory than if you're doing more simplistic queries. JOINs between two data sources will use as much memory as required to hold both result sets in memory, or, if the data source doesn't support pushdown, the entire data set from the data source - Caching: if you're using local caching (including the embedded cache DB), that means more disk space In the absence of more information, I would recommend the following: - analyze your intended virtual model: size of data sets, average query result size - analyze your caching requirements - analyze your traffic needs - analyze your budget - test and iterate as needed Unfortunately, there's no one "right answer" here.
