Dio -
Hi all, I have a BW6 project that is running without problem in runtime environment. However, when I open the project in designer (business studio), it appears to be corrupt. Below is the project explorer view for the uncorrupted: Below is the Project Explorer view when it become corrupted: I've tried refactoring the project but that didn't help. Any help on how to repair the project will be greatly appreciated.
Hitesh Nembhwani
What's the error it's complaining about Looks like the Package presentation got reset from Flat to Hierarchical (check the snapshot), did you try also doing a Project - Clean or importing the same project in a different worksapce with Copy Projects to Workspace option checked
Dio -
Thanks for responding HiteshThe 1st of the 121 errors is in MANIFEST.MF and says "Package 'com.liquidtelecom.nms.huawei' does not exist in this plug-in".I've also attempted both Project ->Clean and importing the same project in a different workspace with Copy Projects to Workspace option checked. Both gave the exact same result. How would I go about resetting the Package presentation Right cliking on the package names do not show the same context menu shown in your attachment.Additionally, https://docs.tibco.com/pub/activematrix_businessworks/6.3.3/doc/html/GUID-E4FEAD4D-3D9E-477E-9942-2069A8009036.html mentions changing an existing project to java nature however, the "Configure->Convert to Java Project" isn't one of the options available. Only "Configure->Convert to Faceted Form..." was available.Any other suggestions will be appreciated.
Hitesh Nembhwani
so looks likeMETA-INF file of your project is the problem. Is this a migrated project and does the workspace have custom xpath functions too There was a known issue with 6.3.3 in this area which has been addressed in 6.4.0 and higher version, do you have a chance to use the latest version (6.5.1)
Dio -
Is this a migrated project I inherited the project so don't know the history.Does the workspace have custom xpath functions The workspace does have java codes but none has dependency on "com.tibco.xml.cxf.customXPathFunction" so I'd say no.I just installed version 6.5.1, created a new workspace and imported the project. However, the outcome has not changed
