MFT Platform Server 8.0.0 could not transfer files using ResponderProfile

MFT Platform Server win 8.0.0_HF-004

MFT Command Center 8.0.2_HF-003

Test scenario:

Mftps and mftcc are installed on the same machine.Now using mftcc send command to mftps to send file between diffrent dirs.

In order to hide the os local username/password,mftps config like this,

config 1. cfnode.cfg

[localps]

SystemType = Windows

Protocol = tcpip

HostName = 127.0.0.1

Server = 46464

TLS = N

Compression = NEVER

Encryption = NEVER

SecurityPolicy = Default

ResponderProfile = Y

Description = mftcc

Then I use mftcc to send transfer command to localps,please check the attachment for the defail.

After that I check mftps transfer log,it shows "File to File transfer failed.Could not logon user NT AUTHORITYpsadmin.username or password not correct."

It seems that mftps does not read Respondprofile file .

Hi

Have you declared the server credentials for the server definition you've created as MFTPS

You want to usecfsend from MFTPS ,then you need to create user profile.

User profiles details can be checked in cfprofile.cfg file.

Hi Ranga,Thank you for your reply. I have followed by your advice,create a user profile definition like below.    [127.0.0.1]

   MachineNamelocalUser                         = Secure      psadmin                                            841082be1dbaee73903de9cc067f62e65624636c79760add9a36be5b39e01bdbd0aef09d0123fc00db5ba262ae908838But it still not work,the exception are the same.It seems mftps always treat the remote user as local user because of the word in log "NT AUTHORITY".What is more,after I change the mftps back to version 7.2.0 and do the same operations above,the file transfer works fine.Does mftps 8.0.0 add any new feature about responderProfile

Strange by seeing your statement that its working in 720 but not in 800..

Please lodge a case in support portal get the professional support from TIBCO.

I suspect there should be some configuration issue from your end as I strongly believe that there wont be any functionality change in product from 720 to 800.

So, here goes my suggestion: Enable to the tracelogs(Server,client & SSL ifyou are using SSL) in ../mftps/config/config.txt and restart the mftps which will give more detailed information for you to analyse where the problem is..

I found another failsituation.

When using psw 7.2.0 for testing , psw works fine.

However,after installed psw7.2.0 with HF-011, the same error came up .
