newline charecter is not reflected in iProcess variable.

Dear Experts.

In iProcess, I have queried the Oracle DB and fetched column value which is stored with new line charecter, and assign it to a iProcess variable which is declared as text(255) ormemo. But the new line charecters are missed in iProcess. It gives a single straight line. Could any one provide update on this.
