How to stop an automated report from sending out if the data load doesn't happen on time

I have a scheduled automated job whihc runs an analysis and sends out an email to the recipients on a daily basis.

The data is getting loaded from both Teradata and SQL Server in report, sometimes it happens that SQL Server has a delay in data load and teh report goes out to be empty.

Is there a way that I can stop the report from sending out if the data load doesnt happen on time and instead send a message saying there was delay in data load

 

Please let me know if there is a way to achieve the same.
