Deepak Kuletha Posted March 8, 2020 Posted March 8, 2020 Can you please provide more information like which version of Mongo DB is being used , Verifyconnection details for data source , settings bein used in advanced section of Mongo DB Datasource does underlying data is being returned from Mongo DB collections
Anil Prabhu Posted March 23, 2020 Posted March 23, 2020 Please try the following suggestions. Recommendation # 1 :Turn on tracing This will add detailed information in the file /logs/cs_server.dsrc to help identify the cause. The steps are: (1) Open /conf/server/log4j.properties in any text editor and append the following lines: log4j.logger.com.cdata=DEBUG log4j.logger.com.compositesw.cdms.ds=DEBUG log4j.logger.com.compositesw.cdms.datasource=DEBUG(2)Set the MongoDB data source's Otherproperty toVerbosity=5 (3) Restart the TDV server. Reproduce the issue. (4) Opencs_server.dsrc and look for any errors or warnings. Recommendation # 2: Create aJDBC-ODBC bridge data source As an alternative to a MongoDB data source, you can try a JDBC-ODBC bridge data source. This data source allows you to specify an ODBC DSN to use for the connection. If a JDBC-ODBC bridge data source performs as slowly as Spotfire with ODBC, then the slowdown may be due to external factors such as: (i) latency on the network. (ii) latency on the MongoDB server end. (iiii) latency associated with the type/size of data being retreived from MongoDB.
