How to set a document property and then run an IronPython script

I have a table row (html) like that:

When the user clicks on a cell of the table, my javascript function (myfunction) run and two things should automatically happen: 1) Set the parameter of "myfunction", for example, "photo001", in a document property and then 2) run a IronPython script that will use the updated value of the document property.I only need that javascript function to do this two things.
