Kevin Tipa Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Hi all, There are some business applications I need to connect, and two of them provide Web APIs without the swagger to load the meta data. I've been told there's a way to create your own swagger for someone else's API, and let Scribe use that to figure out what the entities and fields are to interact with. But I can't find anything in the documentation about that. Is it possible to create your own schema And how do I do that
Kevin Tipa Posted November 20, 2019 Author Posted November 20, 2019 What I didn't know when I asked this question was how complicated Open API/Swagger files could be, but that there are resources likehttps://editor.swagger.io/to help, and I didn't know that in the REST API connection type, there's a field where you can just copy and paste the Swagger file to let Scribe know what the options are for that API. I'm just putting this information in here in case it helps someone else who is trying to figure this out.
