Using CRM/AX Connectors for Full Replication

Hello All, I have been tasked with determining the approach to fully replicate our production MS Dynamics CRM and AX instances so that we havetest environments with current production data. I see that Scribe provides CRM and AX connectors. Can I use Scribe for this purpose using thesepre-built connectors for CRM and AX Would this also overwrite the code if all entities are selected Is this a good approach vs. say, SQl Server transactional replication I don't see a lot of information out there to guide me on this. Any help is greatly appreciated!
