Can I reload refreshed embedded data.

I have a report that is embedded. The report is refeshed every 15 mins using automation. When the report is opened, can I reload the refreshed embedded data. that ran in the backgroud. Creating a refesh button call the server an runs the query that can take up to 5 minutes. Opening the embeded data takes 15 sec.
