Does anyone know the cases connecting Looker into TDV

Some sources say Looker supports a manual JDBC installation which may be applicable to the TDV connection but I don't know much about it.

Most JDBC client applicationsonly have the following requirements

(1) The JDBC jar file (e.g. appsserverlibcsjdbc.jar) needs to be copied to a folder that the client's CLASSPATH variable points to.

(2) A JDBC connection url needs to be set up in he client.

However,https://discourse.looker.com/t/obscure-jdbc-driver-connections-for-looker/1130/4states that simply connecting to a JDBC Driver isnt enough for Looker to work with a JDBC data source. Based on this,Looker may have constraints that limit it tousing specific drivers (or, may have additional configuration requirements).
