This is an example for education of users how to use Statistica data functions. This example is used for computation of correlation matrix from the input data. Correlation matrix is recomputed automatically according to marking in visualization itself. This means input data are dependent on interactive choices inside Spotfire dashboard. Video showing construction of the whole example is here. More info about Statistica data functions here.
For construction of the data function the no-code environment of Statistica visual workflows is used (if you are not familiar with Statistica workspaces, please visit this wiki page).
What this example is showing:
- Example of single functionality computation brought back to Spotfire
- Example of one Input and one Output data function (no parametrization involved)
- Example of automatical triggering data function after change of Marking
- Example of universal data function (can be applied on different data without changes)
If you are intersted in building the Statistica data functions, please find additional examples here.
You can use in your dxps this data function also without need of installing the TIBCO Data Science - Workbench product.
