Changes To Marketo APIs May Require Map Updates
UPDATE: Marketo has pushed the date for this change from May 17, 2017 to their September 2017 release.
Scribe released the updated Connectors on June 7, 2017.
Marketo is implementing changes to their SOAP and REST APIs which were to go into effect May 17th. You can learn more about the Marketo changes here: http://developers.marketo.com/blog/important-change-activity-records-mar...
To support the upcoming Marketo API changes Scribe has released updates to both the Scribe Connector for Marketo, which uses the Marketo REST API, and the Scribe Connector for Marketo SOAP.
The Scribe update includes support for the marketoGUID field in the Activity and Activity Types entities.
NOTE: To see the marketoGUID field in Scribe Online, you must reset metadata for your Marketo Connections.
Any Scribe Online Maps that currently use the id field as a unique identifier for an Activity or Activity Type must be modified to use the new marketoGUID field as the unique identifier.
NOTE: For Marketo SOAP, the new marketoGUID field is only available in version 3.1 and higher of the Marketo SOAP endpoint.
After May 17th, 2017, the id field will no longer be supported by the Marketo SOAP and REST APIs. NOTE: This date has been changed to September 2017.
