Does the SAP connector support SAP Business One - version 9.3?
After a quick glance, there are a few things to consider before using the REST connector.
First, there is not yet an Authorization method for Token-based authentication. But, it looks like if you define those yourself in app.py; so, you can use the REST Connector's API Key Authentication and hard-code the key to a Header as needed.
Next, try to understand if you need any result properties from any "Target" operations (PUT, POST, DELETE, etc.). For example, if you POST an Order with the REST connector, if the API returns an Order ID, there is not yet a capability to map the resulting Order ID in the REST connector back to a source system.
Lastly, some of the inputs look like they expect you to name the columns:
Writing a Scribe formula to map column names for all of the properties mapped at runtime could prove tricky, however, it would be easy to write in the CDK because all mapped columns will come in with your input data entity.
I hope this helps.
Based on one of your links, I see that they have a RESTful endpoint available: https://github.com/ideabosque/SAP-B1-RESTful
Do you feel that the Scribe Online REST connector is a viable option?
I downloaded some of their old SOAP based code, and I’m concerned about building a custom connector using old technology.
No, the SAP Connector is looking for OData web services.
Here's a fairly recent article tackling the integration question: http://blog.asug.com/b1/integration-apis-and-the-sap-business-one-develo...
There's also a lot of movement to SAP HANA Cloud, which you could look into.
There also seem to be some API wrappers for SAP B1 if you're looking to accelerate a Connector Dev project:
