Exclude values in Information Link filter
In an Information Link I can filter a column on one or more values. Is there a way to switch this so the value(s) I provide are filtered out of the query?
I'm attaching an image to illustrate what I mean. Any feedback appreciated.
I'm curious how you are getting that to work. Here's what I get:
This would be useful for when doing a data connection with external data, as the query can be efficiently generated only with the needed columns, opposite to creating a IL with a fixed number of columns.
Per version 7.9 i don't see a way to provide unequality filters to data anywhere other than directly writing on the query's SQL

I think the best way to handel this is in your information source itself versus trying to be selective with the parameters for limitations.
Modify the SQL on the information link to have WHERE A1."AFE Type Code" not in ('test','type')
Another potential way, is to use some regex in the parameter values like ^((?!type).)*$
Thanks for the comment. The idea is to provide access to a single unfiltered view in the database and let users filter to their needs when building the information link. Filtering inclusively doesn't always get them where they need to be, they need the "NOT IN" or <> option.
Thanks for the comment, and you are right, Filter Elements are an option. But due to Library permissions concerns, I need to let users set their filter in the Information Link's Filter tool instead of opening up the ability to create Filter Elements. Hoping there's some syntax to allow for this.
