Hi, I'm new to the FCF and there is an API that i'm trying to connect with that uses a "Resource Owner Password Credentials Grant" from the OAuth 2.0 specification. Is this something that is beyond the FCF capability?
The short answer is that if this is a 3-legged OAuth 2.0 protocol (e.g., send the user to the app's login portal), then it will be outside of the FCF capabilities because there are multiple API calls with the authorization server.
If you just need to connect via an OAuth 2.0 spec, then there are options in the FCF to do that. There are two things to consider with the FCF and Authentication:
In your case, your form will probably ask for the Resource Owner/User's password, and probably a Client Id and Client Secret (3 separate properties on your Form). Then you'll use those in the Authentication API call. I think our Help doc example uses an OAuth API, although your API call may differ.
Hope this helps!
