I need to filter Account records on data in a field within one of the account's child customized entities
. I see how to only include account records that have data within the child entity, but not how to filter based upon what data is in the child entity's record.
Thanks so much for your help
Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.
Since I'm new to Scribe Online, I'd rather stay a way from FetchXML if possible, but that may not be possible. I would think (hope) that there is a way within the Fetch block or another method to include multiple values without carrying out the process for each value within the GUI.
I would have used "Native Query" if your source data connection supports that, (with SQL, and Dynamics CRM wich I use most is that possible):
With Dynamics CRM as source and Native Query block a simple FetchXML could be:
<entity name="account" >
<link-entity name="contact" from="parentcustomerid" to="accountid" >
<condition attribute="birthdate" operator="last-seven-days" />
This would give you all accounts wich have a contact with a bitdate last seven days.
If you want to write Fetch XML I really recomd using FetchXML builder for XRM Toolbox
Within the Fetch block, I'm trying to filter on 3 different values in the same field within the child table. I'm using OR to include all 3, but it inserts multiple records into the SQL DB when more than one of the values is present in the child table. Is there a way, SQL would use IN, within the Fetch's filter that I can filter on multiple values within the same field (not use OR) and only have one record inserted? Hope this makes sense.
Thanks again for your help.
