Liveview not available from spotfire analyst

We have created a liveview in Spotfire server. However we did this using spotfire analyst as the same machine as server.

When I try to connect to the liveview from my desktop version of analyst we get the following response

"The data source does not exist or it does not respond"

 

Have we set up the liveview correctly in Spotfire?

Does the workflow in Streambase need modifying?

We have opened port 10080 on the machine that spotfire server and streambase sit on.

Any help much appreciated

Hi Scott,

If streambase (and liveview) is on the same server as Spotfire, ports shouldn't matter.

Are you able to load the stream in the liveview web? If not, the stream might not have been started in Streambase yet.

If so, you should be able to capture that same stream in Spotfire (using an iframe if you're in Spotfire 7.x or directly via the Tibco DataStreams connector in Spotfire 10).
