Recommended Best Practices for Documentation of Work within Spotfire
I wanted to reach out to ask how do others go about documenting their work in Spotfire?
For instance, text areass can be included in each tab to explain what the overall purpose is for each page (or tab), but if we wanted to document how the analysis on that page was created for future reference, does Spotfire support any additional documentation capabilities that can be hidden from the everyday user.
Also, in regards to custom expressions, Inserted Columns/Property Controls etc have a description box but the same does not exist for Visualizations such as Cross Table, where multiple complicated expressions could be created. Does spotfire support any form of commenting features here? If not, any suggestions of alternate approaches?
