Scribe Connector For QuickBooks End-of-Life

On January 10, 2017 the following email was sent to all accounts actively using the Scribe Connector for QuickBooks Desktop. Please be advised that the end-of-life for the QuickBooks Desktop Connector is December 31, 2017:

I hope your 2017 is off to a great start. As one of Scribe’s Product Managers for connectivity I am contacting our remaining Scribe Online Connector for QuickBooks users to remind you of Scribe’s end-of-life process for the Connector. The Connector has not been offered on our marketplace for some time and throughout 2017 we will offer limited support for it. Finally, on December 31, 2017 Scribe will discontinue support for the Connector. We wanted to give our customers plenty of notice so you have time to plan accordingly.

 

What does this mean for you? Throughout 2017 we will continue to respond to support cases and offer assistance and technical troubleshooting for the Connector. We will not be updating the Connector code or producing hotfixes. At the end of 2017, all support for this Connector will cease. It is important to note this applies only to the Scribe Online Connector for QuickBooks, all other Scribe Connectors and the Scribe Online core platform remain fully supported products. The Connector will continue to function at the end of 2017, but it will no longer be supported by Scribe and future updates to the Scribe Online core platform may affect the Connector.

 

We will be sending out a subsequent reminder later in the year, around 90 days prior to the discontinuation of support for the Connector.
