Scribe Plans To Disable TLS 1.0 For Scribe Online

Support for TLS 1.0 will be disabled on December 19, 2017 on Scribe Sandbox to meet updated industry security standards. The TLS protocol provides privacy and data integrity between two communicating applications.

NOTE: The same change is planned for Scribe production on March 30, 2018.

This could affect your use of older browsers, the Scribe API endpoint, and Request/Reply or Message Maps. In most cases there will be no impact to your use of Scribe Online, however, we encourage you to test your Scribe implementation in the Sandbox environment before TLS 1.0 is disabled in production.

To signup for a Sandbox account, go to and select Getting Started > Create Trial.
