Script to save data table to Excel
So I currently have a large analysis, and one of the parts of the analysis includes bringing in an Excel Spreadsheet that has initiatives that need to be completed. I want my users to be able to mark these jobs as completed in the web player. I tried using tags, but those reset for every web player session, so I'm trying to use a new strategy where each time a user clicks a button to mark as complete a script runs that overwrites the previous save in the excel file changing a column in the table to mark this task as completed. My main question is if anyone has a script they have used before that replaces the source excel file with the updated data table that is in Spotfire. Also, if anyone has a better suggestion I am interested in that as well.
