Spotfire and IHS Enerdeq
Has anyone tried to connect directly to IHS enerdeq to retrieve data with the spotfire client?

Chris,
To be able to create a Information Model, you would need:
- A JDBC driver
- A Datasource template (Examples for creating Datasources can be found in the Spotfire Server Installation Manual)
- Access to the database
Based on what I found online, I didn't see any JDBC driver for this and without which creating an information model won't be possible. If your IT can route the data from Enerdeq to any other databases (Ex: SQLServer) instead of exporting them to Excel, you can then use Information Model.

Pavan

Right now we just go through the Enerdeq browser, create a query and then export the data. Our IT is supposedly working with pulling raw data but won't give us access to it yet (may be a while). It would be handy to be able to pull directly into SF via an info link rather than throught excel for instance. Some of the data sets are very large and much to big for excel.
