Is there a way to add in the "added columns" when adding more rows?

Hi all!

I have two tables, Sales data table and item information table.  My Sales table doesn't have item detail information in it, just the item code primary index so i have added columns to my Sales table from the Item table.  For now i am uploading either text or excel data files with additional sales.  Each week, I want to add rows to my Sales table in Spotfire, to include an extra week of information.  When I add in the new rows, the Sales data adds fine, but the Item data doesn't get populated.

Is there a way to add in the "added columns" when adding more rows?
