Is there a way to draw a 45 degree line on a scatter plot?
Is there a way to draw a 45 degree line on a scatter plot? I don't want to fit the line through the data points. Is this possible to do out of the box or do I need to do something with formulas based on the max values on the x and y axis? thank you!
Technically you could write an IronPython script to do this but it would require clicking a button/link to execute, so it would not be seemlessly integrated (but perhaps it could still help you). The script could read the axis range (min/max) of your visualization and then adjust the slope of the line to make it appear 45 degrees based on those axis values. For example, instead of an expression of just x it could make it .5x.
