TIBCO iProcess WS Plug in - Invocation Style
There are 3 invocation styles for WS calls from iProcess. I want to know which one would suit us, if we say that the calling WS would take around 30-45 mins to respond back?
Automatic Delayed Release
Once the call has been made, the case is suspended so iProcess can continue processing other cases. The Web Service needs to restart the case when required.
— Manual Delayed Release
Once the call has been made, the case is suspended so iProcess can continue processing other cases. User intervention is required to restart the case.
— Asynchronous with Reply (Deprecated)
Select this option so that the request and response calls are de-coupled into separate requests from the iProcess Background process. If a procedure is
designed with multiple, parallel steps, they can be invoked asynchronously and allowed to run simultaneously but the Background process will be
blocked until all of the responses are received. This means that no other processing can occur by that Background process. However if the response
time is too slow, then the iProcess Web Services Plug-in will automatically switch to Delayed Release
Also as per the document eai_web.pdf it says that Asynchronous with Reply is deprecated? Does it mean that it is not available.
