Unable to read spotfire information links in KNIME

I am performing a demo to read data from spotfire information links in KNIME analytics platform.

I entered the spotfire server url along with the path to the info link and the spotfire username and password in the "TIBCO Spotfire Information Link Reader" Node. But when i click Apply/OK, i get this error: "failed to apply settings: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target".

I guess this has to do with some certificates. Is there an option to trust all certificates from server (similar to what provided in REST services Node).

Has anyone tried this?

Any help appreciated.

I was able to solve above error by adding certificate in keystore, but now i face "401 unauthorized access error".

I investigated the issue further and found that the TIBCO Spotfire Nodes are not using the HTTP “Negotiate” authorization scheme. The spotfire server expects authorization through negotiate but I can’t find a way to use that scheme.

When I load the url “[https://spotfire.companyname.com/spotfire/wp/Services/DataAccessDataConn...) in Google Chrome, it automatically performs the Negotiate authorization and thus it is successful in browser.

I tried to set the property “http.auth.preference=” to “Negotiate” and “SPNEGO” in JRE, but it did not work.

Do you have a workaround for this issue?
