I wrote a custom query which gets data based on the '?current_user' parameter. Because my dashboard contains certain feautures which are not available when using in-database data, all data is kept in-memory.
In Web Spotfire, it seems the dashboard does not show different data, depending on who logs in. The data remains as it was when the dashboard was first published, including the filters based on the person who published the dashboard.
In some ways, this makes sense. But obviously, it is not the behaviour I am looking for. How can I use in-memory data, whilst also relying on a custom query which includes the '?current_user' parameter?
