What's New in 6.2: Window Functions for Hadoop

With the release of Chorus 6.2, several new operators are available in the product. To see posts about all new operators, search the forum for “What’s New in 6.2”, or check out the release notes

Three of the new operators include window function operators for Hadoop. A window function performs a calculation across a set of table rows that are somehow related to the current row. New operators support the window functions Aggregate, Lag/Lead and Rank. These database-like window functions can now be computed on top of Hadoop by leveraging Spark SQL.

For more information about the new Window Function operators and how to use them, please read our documentation.
