To ensure the best experience for you during the Houston Energy Forum Hackathon 2017, we request that you complete the following 3 requirements:
Install TIBCO Spotfire Cloud Analyst
To participate in the hackathon you will need to bring your laptop with the latest TIBCO Spotfire® Cloud Analyst installed. The installation instructions and system requirements are detailed under Installation Instructions.
Decide between competing or observing
The Hackathon has a guided format, which simply means the hackathon is divided into 4 tasks over the 2 hours. Each task will be submitted individually and solutions for each will be discussed after submission time. You can choose to participate in 2 ways:
1. Compete and submit your solutions for a chance to win a top prize!
2. Observe and wait for the solutions to be discussed. You can try the hackathon questions but will not submit.
Before the hackathon starts you will have the chance to choose between the compete or observe group. During the hackathon the two groups will be seated separately. The moderators are more lenient while helping the Observe group but more attentive to the Compete group!
