We created our cloud integration product to help you keep every part of your business integrated. What resources are available to help me get up and running quickly?
Our TIBCO Cloud Integration Community website offers a forum for questions and answers about the product as well as additional resources like YouTube (with sample videos), the TIBCO Cloud Integration documentation, and our Community getting started guide and samples.
Where can I download the TIBCO Cloud Command Line Interface?Once you login, TIBCO Cloud CLI (Command Line Interface) is available for download in the Downloads tab located in the main menu. The TIBCO Cloud CLI is available for Windows, Linux and MacOS.
Where can I download TIBCO Business Studio Cloud Edition?Once you login, you can download TIBCO Business Studio Cloud Edition from the Downloads tab located in the main menu. TIBCO Business Studio is available for Windows, Linux and MacOS.
Can I use TIBCO Cloud Integration with 3rd Party Services/APIs?
Absolutely! On top of the plug-ins that TIBCO offers to connect to Cloud based applications without writing any code you can connect to any 3rd party service or API using the same way of working you’re used to with other versions of TIBCO Integration Products
Why can’t I just use the on-premise version of TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks?
TIBCO Cloud Integration is aimed for customers that want to get started quickly (no installation required), don’t want to be locked in (subscription based) and don’t want to operate their own stack (Software-as-a-Service). At the same time we wanted to make sure that projects could very easily be used in our different integration products. In order to do that we leveraged the existing design time environment that is common for TIBCO integration products for TIBCO Cloud Integration as well to make sure you can reuse your integration assets and to provide portability of projects between environments.
My favorite plug-in is not available in TIBCO Cloud Integration how can I get it there?
TIBCO Cloud Integration focusses first and foremost on solving the integration use cases that are born within the cloud so we’ve focussed on the plug-ins that make most sense in that environment. New plug-ins will be introduced based on the feedback and enhancement requests we receive from either customers or internal teams so please share your ideas on the ideas portal.
How is TIBCO Cloud Integration different from TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks?
TIBCO Cloud Integration is TIBCO’s multi-tenant iPaaS product that caters to the needs and demands of a quickly changing world. With TIBCO Cloud Integration we've made sure you can reuse your integration assets and to provide portability of projects between environments. It also offers the capability of creating Microflows and full web based API Modeler and is aimed at delivering Cloud based use-cases removing some of the palettes that make no sense in such an environment.
How is TIBCO Cloud Integration different from TIBCO BusinessWorks Container Edition?
TIBCO Cloud Integration is TIBCO’s multi-tenant iPaaS solving the needs for the Departmental Buyer and API centric use-cases; while TIBCO BusinessWorks Container Edition is for enterprises looking to build their own cloud (private/public/hybrid) for Cloud-Native apps. TIBCO Cloud Integration is hosted and operated by TIBCO so the customer doesn’t worry about cloud infra/ops; TIBCO BusinessWorks Container Edition on the other hand runs within the customer’s choice of a cloud env built using Cloud Foundry or Docker.
Does TIBCO Cloud Integration work with my On-Premise deployment of TIBCO BusinessWorks?
Yes, projects created in TIBCO Cloud Integration can be used in other BusinessWorks environments. Simply import them into TIBCO Business Studio and change the project type to its new version. Note, there might be palettes that are not supported as part of TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks.
Why do items in the TIBCO Cloud Integration pages overlap or are not aligned correctly?
This may be caused by a screen resolution problem. The minimum required resolution for the TIBCO Cloud Integration site is 1440x900 pixels.
TIBCO expressed the desire to do regular fixes and enhancements, how will this be communicated to the clients?
The underlying foundation that we use as part of TIBCO Cloud Integration has the ability to surface notifications to users as they log in. When we release new features or perform important updates to the service this information will be displayed to them. Besides that, the TIBCO Community will be kept up to date with release notes, FAQs and other information that is pertinent to customer success.
How do I publish my new API into TIBCO Mashery to be managed?
This is as easy as 1-2-3. First, click on the little hamburger menu next to the API you want to publish to TIBCO Mashery and select ‘Publish to Mashery’. Second, follow the three step wizard that guides you though the process. Third, enjoy the power of a managed API in TIBCO Mashery.
What are the SLAs offered by TIBCO for TIBCO Cloud Integration?
TIBCO Cloud Integration offers a standard and a premium SLA. Information on both our SLAs can be found in the Service Level Guide.
