New Features

• This release contains few of the security fixes.
• All the new features in the 1.5.0 release are now available in the rest of the 3 regions.
• ElasticSearch version and Postgres database version upgraded.

New Features

The following features have been added in this release of TIBCO Cloud? AuditSafe:

Data Archiving and Purging

The Data Archiving and Purging feature allows you to configure what kind of data you want to archive and purge.

Data Retention

The Data Retention feature allows you to retain data for a specific period. By default, this is configured to save data for a maximum of 18 months.

Payload Access Control

Payload Access Control allows you to set access control for viewing, downloading, and

encrypting payloads.

Key Management

You can use this feature to create a new key and / or enable an existing key.

Closed Issues

The following issues have been fixed in this release of TIBCO Cloud? AuditSafe:

BCAS-1156: You are navigated to the first page even when you go back

to an event of any other page from the Transaction details page.

BCAS-1086: Incorrect results are filtered on the Home page when time

values are applied in the custom filter.

BCAS-1071: On the Transactions tab, when you click Sort icon for any column,

the column is not sorted in a desired order.

BCAS-737: Search Criteria, Column Configuration and Group By

are retained when you switch to Demo Data mode with No records found message.

• BCAS-1199 - Fixed the issue for Unique extra property names, User should not be able to post the events where extra props name matches other Basic columns or other extra prop names.
• BCAS-1221 - Fixed the error when pushing the BW project to TCI.
• BCAS-1222 - FIxed the issue where Auditsafe is erroring out and missing entries on TCI.

MAR 17, 2021 - TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe 1.4.0

New Features

1. Email Notification. You get a notification to your configured email address after a transaction with the selected status is posted.

2. Distinguish Different Events. Error status can now be displayed in red color on the Transactions page if you select the Error checkbox in the Settings tab.

3. Cross-transaction Links. You can now use the cross-transaction links on the transaction details page, provided under Business process, Source, Destination, or Extra Properties for navigating to the Transactions page with the specific search criteria.

4. Extra Properties URL Link. The extra properties value can be displayed as a hyperlink.

5. Column Configuration Views. You can now save column configuration views.

6. Searchable Payload Column. You can now search for a Payload column. The operators used for the Payload column are different from the other columns. It has ?contains? and ?not contains? operators.

7. Manage Search Criteria. You can now save, view, edit, and delete multiple search criteria.

8. Elasticsearch Query. You can now query AuditSafe events by using Elasticsearch query API in the Swagger UI.

Closed Issues

• BCAS-1134: The Find button got disabled when you tried to clear the dates in either To or From fields.
• BCAS-1087: Duplicate search criteria was added when a value was selected using the standard column search.
• BCAS-1059: No error was displayed when you used an incorrect syntax or entered an incorrect column name in the request schema of Get Audit Event based on Criteria API in Swagger UI.

Known Issues

New Feature

Support for Scribe. This release includes TIBCO Scribe Online Connector for TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe. Using this Scribe connector, customers can now post and get their audit trail into / from TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe from their Scribe workflows / applications. This means that customers now can record their audit events across the different domains covered by TIBCO?s main integration platforms: Flogo, Scribe, and BusinessWorks.

Closed Issues

• BCAS-964: Support AuditSafe intercom using global subscription IDs. Previously, existing European and Asian customers of TIBCO Cloud Integration could not access TIBCO Flogo Connector for TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe.
• WITCTA-42: Failure to authenticate user in FlogoTester for PostAuditEvent.

AUG 12, 2019 - TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe 1.2.0-HF01

Closed Issues:

1. BCAS-747: Previously existing TIBCO Cloud? Integration applications / customers in EU and Asia won?t be able to post to TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe from TIBCO Cloud Integration using either the Flogo Connector or the BusinessWorks Plugin.
2. BCAS-951: Posting transactions or events from Flogo without enabling the extra_props setting, receives a ?Fail to save event? error.

JUN 24, 2019 - TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe 1.2.0

New Features

TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe now includes enterprise search. What does this mean?

1. All fields of a message / an audit event, including extended fields or custom properties, are now indexed in the backend and searchable by the end-users in the front-end.

2. End users can perform multi-parameter boolean searches. That is, they can perform an OR search within the same column/field, e.g., enter business process = ?abc? OR business process = ?xyz?. They can also perform an AND search, e.g., business process = ?abc? AND status = delivered, to narrow down an initial search that is too broad in scope.

3. This enhancement is also accessible to external applications, through the GetAuditEvent activity in either the Flogo Connector for AuditSafe or the BusinessWorks Plugin for AuditSafe. This means you can reconstruct the AuditSafe Search box in your own BW or Flogo app.

Known Issues

• BCAS-909: At the transactions page, the number of records returned is limited to 10,000 events. Attempting to select pages after the first 500, will return a "No records found" error.

• BCAS-892: For BusinessWorks and Flogo sample projects, the Query results for GetAuditEvent Activity may occasionally return a different number of results. The PostAuditEvent activity takes a while to store the data, so the total number of total rows returned can vary between 0-9. Workaround: Waiting a few seconds before running the Query Activity will fetch the correct number of results.

• BCAS-951: Posting transactions or events from Flogo without enabling the extra_props setting, receives a 'Fail to save event' error. Workaround: Enable the extra_props field for the PostAuditEvent activity in Flogo, and provide the function 'array.forEach()' to enable it in the schema. The prop_name and prop_value parameters can be left empty if no values are required.

• BCAS-747: Previously existing TIBCO Cloud? Integration applications / customers in EU and Asia won't be able to post to TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe from TIBCO Cloud Integration using either the Flogo Connector or the BusinessWorks Plugin. This issue does not apply to US customers.

New Feature

A "GetAuditEvent" activity has been added to the TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe, so that audit events stored in TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe can be retrieved by any BusinessWorks app.

A cloud service for creating an audit trail for your cloud and on-premise applications is now available for the general public.

New Features

Transaction Dashboard. Predefined charts to view transaction / audit event trends.

Transaction Viewer. View audit events in aggregate (table format), and drill down to review the details.

Chained Events. Events are automatically chained chronologically based on time stamps. Unless you specify parent - child relations between events. Multiple child events are possible for each parent event.

TIBCO Flogo® Connector for TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe. This plugin allows you to connect applications running on TIBCO Cloud? Integration to TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe, allowing the applications to post audit events to TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe. Download the sample Flogo flow from inside the Connectors tab.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plugin for TIBCO Cloud? AuditSafe. This plugin allows you to connect  applications running on TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks and TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Container Edition to TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe, allowing these applications to post audit events to TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe. Download the sample BusinessWorks project from inside the Connectors tab.

Validation of Audit Events and Statuses. Predefine acceptable field values for audit events and event statuses for runtime validation.

Integrated to TIBCO® Blocklayer (optional). An experimental blockchain-as-a-Service project by TIBCO® Labs that can be optionally turned on. If turned on, from that point on, for all audit events in TIBCO Cloud AuditSafe, hash values will be calculated and inserted in TIBCO Blocklayer for tamper-proofing purposes.
