BWAR-100

Summary: A timeout Error is displayed while deploying the application on bwadmin

and TIBCO Enterprise Administrator.

Workaround:

1. Before creating the EAR file, use the default TimeOut value in the

RedshiftBulkLoad activity on the Advanced Tab.

2. While deploying an application, add the following property in the app node's TRA

file:

java.property.javax.xml.stream.XMLInputFactory=com.sun.xml.internal

.stream.XMLInputFactoryImpl

Note: This workaround is verified on TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™ BW670HF5 and BW680HF1.

BWAR-117

Summary: When using a combination of module properties and literal values in Redshift connection resources, the schema cannot be retrieved.

Workaround: The message Okta endpoint URL can not be empty is displayed. Click OK to download the Schema.

Note: The message is displayed only when the connection resource is configured with the module property set for the Okta Endpoint URL field.

BWAR-149

Summary: The Catch Block fails to execute for AmazonRedshiftPluginException and AmazonRedshiftSQLException

Workaround: Use the Catch all Block to catch AmazonRedshiftPluginException and AmazonRedshiftSQLException.

BWAR-162

Summary: The plug-in does not work with TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in Component for AWS Common Services for creating a connection to Amazon Redshift.

Workaround: None.

BWAR-182

Summary: For many new or updated records, Change Data Poller cannot see data processed in concurrent jobs.

Workaround: None.

BWAR-235

Summary: The Redshift application displays java.lang.NullPointerException when configured for group mode across and deployed across multiple appnodes.

Workaround: Either start the Redshift application on a different running appnode or restart the appnode where the null pointer exception was displayed.
 

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plug-in for Amazon SQS and SNS

AWSM-364

Summary: Runtime deployment fails for the ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plug-in for Amazon SQS and SNS when the plug-in is updated to the current version from 6.4.0 or a previous version.

Workaround: Add the following property to the appnode config.ini file and restart the node: bw.appnode.clean.config.folder.on.startup=true

AWSM-366

Summary: The Palette is visible at design time even after uninstalling the ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plug-in for Amazon SQS and SNS 6.4.0 or a previous version.

Workaround: Update the plug-in to a newer version by installing the ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plug-in for Amazon SQS and SNS 6.4.1 or later.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plug-in for Amazon S3

BWAS-690
Summary: When you deploy an Amazon S3 project on Docker without providing the region in the Amazon S3 Shared Resource, it generates an error requesting to select the region name.
Workaround: Provide a valid region name in the Amazon S3 Shared Resource.
 

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plug-in for Apache Cassandra

BWAC-400

Summary: Connections created and maintained in the pool are not closed when the appnode is shut down in the Windows platform. This is also the case for any stand-alone java program connecting to the Apache Cassandra database irrespective of the plugin being used.

Workaround: Set the idle connection timeout to an appropriate value so that all pooled connections that were created but are no longer required due to the appnode being shut down are automatically closed after the specified time. You can also terminate the connections through admin tools.
 

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plug-in for Apache Kafka

BDKF-336
Summary: A Kafka application connecting to a non Kerberos Kafka server must be supplemented with an empty krb5.conf file.
Workaround: None.

BWPLSR-362

Summary: In the PulsarConsumer activity, multi-topic subscription does not work for a nonpersistent topic with a regular expression pattern.

Summary: For the JSON message format, the JSON schema expects the name keyword as

mandatory.

BWFB-1798

Summary: When importing the sample project to TIBCO Business Studio 6.8.x, a warning related to the JRE Compiler Compliance Problem is visible in the Application module.

Workaround: On the Problem tab of the TIBCO Business Studio, right-click on the warning and select Quick Fix. Change the Java compiler compliance level from 1.8 to 11 and click Apply and Close. Rebuild the project to apply the changes.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plug-in for Marketo

IPAS-1992

Summary: The Marketo plug-in uses absolute file paths in some of the activities. Due to the nature of TIBCO Cloud Integration these activities are not supported.

Workaround: None

IPAS-22862

Summary: When working with the 6.1.0 version, the projects created with Authentication Type as Federated Authentication & SSO should be reconfigured to Authentication Type as SAML Authentication.

Workaround: New EAR files should be created by selecting the Authentication Type as SAML Authentication. As existing EARs files configured with Authentication Type as Federated Authentication & SSO are incompatible with version 6.1.0.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plug-in for Microsoft SharePoint

SPBW-1734

Summary: Runtime errors occur with all SharePoint REST activities in concurrency, or when SharePoint Online receives multiple requests continuously for 24 hours while using OAuth.

Example:

SharePointRESTAddListItemUnknown Error: HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable

SharePointRESTSelectListItemUnknown Error: Connection reset error

Workaround: Use retry logic with the sleep activity in the TIBCO BuisnessWorks Repeat on Error group for the activity that fails or throttles the number of job instances created by process starters. To control the number of concurrent requests hitting SharePoint Online use the bwapplicationjobflowlimit property.

If the issue is observed for multiple activities in the process, use the TIBCO BusinessWorks Repeat on Error group for the process, add sleep activity, and redirect to the failed activity in the iteration.

TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plug-in for OData Services for SAP S/4HANA

BWSH-677

Summary: Apps using the Plug-in for OData Services for SAP S/4HANA and the Oracle Native driver do not run correctly in TIBCO Cloud Integration.

Workaround: Use the TIBCO Data Direct DB drivers instead of the native DB drivers.

BWSH-897

Summary: The "volumesFrom" value is missing in the manifest.jsonfile  when you export a Business Event application where a supplement is needed.

Workaround: Manually add the "volumesFrom" value in the manifest.json file. 
For example, "volumesFrom" : ["bwdriver/bw.oracle"]

PIBW-529

Summary: When using the Transaction ID Manager shared resource in Active mode where native drivers require a supplement in TIBCO Cloud Integration, the BusinessWorks app does not work.

Summary: The TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plug-in for SAP SuccessFactors 6.0.0 can not co-exist with the TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks? Plug-in for SAP Ariba 6.0.0.

Summary: When the TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for SAP SuccessFactors 6.1.0 is installed using the P2 installer, the already installed SAP plug-in components are moved to the SuccessFactors section.
Workaround: Install the ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for SAP Solutions first, and then install the ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for SAP SuccessFactors.

Summary: Sometimes an extra ActivityInput element with an error indicator is loaded in the Input tab of the Query activity.

Workaround: Manually remove the unwanted ActivityInput element by right-clicking and deleting the selection.

BWFL-114

Summary: The  Snowflake driver does not seem to support typecasting during batch operations. To work with different types of TIMESTAMP datatype (TIMESTAMP_NTZ, TIMESTAMP_LTZ, and TIMESTAMP_TZ) provided by Snowflake, we are typecasting the bind variable in SQL.

Workaround: When using TIMESTAMP fields do not use batch insert, set batch size to 1.

BWFL-701 

Summary: In the Snowflake Query activity, on the SQL Builder tab, visually creating queries by using the Eclipse SQL builder is not supported on Red Hat Enterprise Linux(RHEL) platform.

Workaround: You must type the required query in the Statement field on the SQL Builder tab.

BWFL-691

Summary: Snowflake MERGE operation using the Snowflake Bulk Load activity inserts a record instead of updating the record when the value for the Merge on Columns field is NULL.

Workaround: Populate the value for the Merge on Columns field.
