• New environment variables

The following environment variables have been introduced in this release: 

FLOGO_FLOW_CONTROL_EVENTS: Used to enable the Flow limit functionality, which improves the process of controlling incoming requests on the trigger.

• Detached Invocation toggle for StartaSubFlow activity

If you want to execute certain events in the main flow without waiting for the subflow to complete its execution, you can do this using the Detached Invocation toggle on the Settings tab of the StartaSubFlow activity. When you set this Detached Invocation toggle to true, the Output option is not available in the StartaSubFlow activity window, and without waiting for the subflow output, the main flow is executed.

• New mapper JSON function

New function json.jq applies a query to the JSON object parsed and returns a filtered array.

• Skipping an activity in Unit Testing

You can skip a particular activity  in unit testing if that activity does not have any outputs.

• Apache Pulsar Consumer Trigger provides the Topics Pattern field to consume messages from multiple topics.

TIBCO Flogo® Connector for Microsoft SQL Server

• SQL Server activities support auto suggestion feature which displays relevant keywords, table names, column names and schemas that you can select from as you type the query.

Added support for JSON. Now, you can use JSON to store, update, and retrieve JSON values in Redis.

TIBCO Flogo® Connector for SFTP

Added support for the TIBCO SFTP connector in TIBCO Cloud Integration. 

This connector allows you to perform the Put, Get, List, Make Directory, Rename, and Delete operations on the SFTP server.

Support for HGETALL Command

SAML Authentication

• Projects that were created using the previous version with Authentication Type as Federated Authentication And SSO must be reconfigured to Authentication Type as SAML Authentication while upgrading to the 6.1.0 version.

Note: Existing EAR files configured with Authentication Type as Federated Authentication And SSO are incompatible with version 6.1.0. You must create new EAR files by selecting the Authentication Type as SAML Authentication.

Migration and Compatibility

TIBCO Cloud™ Integration

TIBCO Cloud Integration only supports the most recent version of the Hybrid Agent and one version back. The most recent version of the Hybrid Agent is version 1.9.0, and the prior Hybrid Agent was version 1.8.0.  If you have a Hybrid Agent installed that is older than version 1.8.0, you should install Hybrid Agent version 1.9.0 to ensure the best performance.
