Sometimes, it is helpful to run parallel TDV servers. For instance, when installing a new TDV server the existing TDV server can be kept running until the new server is up. This is helpful to users as they can continue to use the existing server without experiencing a break in service.
Having parallel TDV servers could result in issues with cache refreshes, as both servers may try to refresh the same cache at the same time. To prevent this from happening, you can disable cache refreshes on the existing server using the Disable Cache Refreshes configuration setting. The setting may be accessed by opening TDV Studio, connecting to the existing TDV server, and navigating to Administration > Configuration > Server > Configuration > Debugging > Disable Cache Refreshes as shown below. ![disable_cache_refresh_screenshot.jpg.5cb1c4e05c33f364db0590d44ebb5b6d.jpg](https://community.tibco.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png) We have a few Quick Tip YouTube videos and content on the TIBCO LinkedIn group to help with extended topics and unique analytics challenges.
