How do you analyze a complex view to find out if any specific dependencies are slowing down performance? - Open the lineage tree for the view.
- Going from left to right, open each dependency in the tree and execute it.
For instance, here is a partial view of the lineage tree for a view named CompositeView: ![Picture1.thumb.png.3331822ababd86ababb91cbd498a89d8.png](https://community.tibco.com/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png) Open each dependency in the tree and click on "execute and show statistics." (This option gives detailed information about how many rows were processed, time spent in the database, time spent in each operator in the execution plan, etc.) It gives you a sense of where time is being spent when CompositeView is run.
