  • How to Configure the TIBCO Messaging Monitor in a Kubernetes Environment

    Bill Mclane

The purpose of these documents (how_to_configure_tibco_msgmon_apd_on_kubernetes.pdf, how_to_configure_tibco_msgmon_akd_on_kubernetes.pdf (available in resources)) is to provide information on installing the TIBCO Messaging Monitor (Msgmon), along with the Msgmon APD(tibmsgmon_apd_files_1.0.zip (available in resources)) and Msgmon AKD (tibmsgmon_akd_files_1.0.zip (available in resources)) extensions in Docker and Kubernetes environments. This document will not provide a step by step configuration of a specific Kubernetes environment. However, the installation and configuration of TIBCO Msgmon is the same for Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE, RedHat OpenShift, as wells as any other generic Kubernetes environments.

    Supported Versions:

    • TIBCO Msgmon 1.0
    • Apache Pulsar 2.7 or newer
    • Apache Kafka 2.7 or newer
    • Docker Community/Enterprise Edition should be most recent version
    • Kubernetes 1.18 or newer
    • CentOS 8.0 or newer running as part of the Docker Container
