Mohit Bindra Posted May 12, 2016 Share Posted May 12, 2016 I am using Mapper and trying to multiply 39.95 to 100. The answer should be simple 3995 but I got answer as 3995.0000000000005. When I do the same with 49.95, it gives 4995. This behaviour is for very few numbers but due to this, we got a Production issue as I work in bankingdomain. For now, we have rounded up but I need to know the reason and a solution for this. I am using BW 5.11. Input field is decimal, output field is decimal. Input value comes as 39.95 at runtime.
