Hello Team,

We wanted to validate the SAP R3 system availbility (up / down) before trigger inbound calls to SAP. As per our Tibco Team, the Inbound calls to SAP from Tibco just looks at system instance & login details. It does not look at RFC connections or the Program id maintained in it. We tried disabling the RFC by giving incorrect program id also it worked. We spent an hour today trying to disable RFC connections of Tibco but every time messages were still being sent into SAP.

Found the below link to check the system up down through SAP plugin, but looks like not beign used at Ecolab Tibco Team.

https://docs.tibco.com/pub/bwpluginsap/8.2.1/doc/html/GUID-8444E841-E4A9...

TIBCO-BW-SR-SAPCONNECTION-501011

Server connection pool: {0} suspended due to exceeded attempts to connect to SAP system

error BW-Plug-in The server connection pool is suspended when the server connection cannot be established after the maximum time interval between two successive attempts.

Check the server connection parameters, the network connectivity, and whether the SAP system is shut down.

Is there a way in check the SAP R3 avaibility through Tibco SAP Adapter. Please advise and Thanks for your help.

Thanks

Bala
