Hello,

 

We have just switched to version 8.4 of the SAP plugin under BW 8.5.1

We noticed that the reconnection mechanism stopped after a certain number of attempts when we got our code ERRNO 111 (connection refused).

 

We expected an indefinite number of reconnections (we have in connection resource -1 for the maximum number of reconnect attemps option).

 

have you also encountered this problem

Did you looked at the following KB article

I remember that in an older version of the SAP Plugin (8.2 ) the configuration parameter mentioned in the article was not managed and the plugin was by default trying to reconnect indefinitly.
