Problems on Character Set between WebClient and Oracle DB

Hello,

we had an Issue, that our tibco iprocess engine ( 11.6.0-8 with Oracle 12c on Sparc Solaris 11) installation has wrong character set viewed.

on the solaris server we user iso8859-1 codepage, the database works with alt32utf and the client uses en_us-utf8.

since the implement outlook as mail system, users copy and paste data from outlook in tibco memo filelds. when now the character is an " ( in german is the first down )

the field will shown in the memofield as an control character, so we cannot open the case.

have you idea's to fix this issue
