Is there a way for an HRB to write the alert into a text file

Would like to integrate HRB alerts into a serapate monitoring system, but the system needs a file which it will read to display the status of a particular application.

I don't think you can do this directly. You can set-up a Hawk Event Server to listen to alerts and write them to a file.

You can also use the messaging agent to send a message to a BusinessWorks process that would write the message content in a file.

Thanks, yeah It wouldve been easier if there is a way to do this directly.

 

Looks like our TIBCO application servers does not have a Hawk Event installed/set-up.

 

I will just try to send those messages into an ems queue, then will be consumed by a BW service to be written into a text file.
