Applications not starting on TEA

Hello Tibco Team,

I have the following services running on a Windows machine:

Rendezvous

FTL

TEA

BW Agent

 

They seem to work fine between them, however when I try to start an application on TEA I am getting the following error:

10:36:03.291 ERROR [qtp340792090-62] com.tibco.tea.agent - Exception occurred on invoking method 'public com.tibco.tea.agent.internal.task.TaskManager$TypedExcecutionResponse com.tibco.tea.agent.internal.task.TaskManager.executeTask(java.lang.String,java.util.Map) throws java.lang.Throwable'

com.tibco.tea.agent.support.TeaException: TIBCO-BW-TEAAGENT-500410: Failed to start Application

 

What might be missing

Is the appnode started without error

You may check it using the following approach :

Go in bw6.7domains\appnodes\bin folder

Start the appnode with the command : startBWAppNode.bat (or .sh under Linux)

 

This way you may see some exceptions that would not see in the TEA or using bwadmin.

 

If the appnode start without error you need to check the application log in the bwappnode.log file located in the bw6.7domains\appnodes\log folder
