BWCE mapper removing the whitespaces

Hi,

I am using BWCE 2.6.0. andfacing an issue with mapper while running locally indebug mode where BWCE is converting the whitespaces to blank value. e.g. if I have input field as field1=" " (with whitespaces) and output field asfield2with mapping tib:pad(field1,5,' ') then mapper giving output as field2="" (removing the whitespace). I want the whitespaces to be preserved in field2. The same thing works fine in BW5.x as getting expected output as field2=" ".

Any solution to the above mentioned problem

It worked perfectly in bwce 2.6.1.
